Shenandoah Trust Co./ Stief's Drug Store Known locally as the Shenandoah Skyscraper and used as a spotting tower in World War II, this beautiful five-story Italinate building was built in 1913 for the Shenandoah Trust Co. Lehigh Valley Railroad Station The Lehigh Valley Railroad station, built around 1870, served as the main passenger terminal in Shenandoah for almost 90 years before it was demolished. Shenandoah was also served by the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia & Reading railroads - the only town in Pennsylvania to have three railroad depots. Photo by American News Co. c 1910. |
